I am a master’s student in the UAB’s 2020-2021 Bioinformatics program (Spain). I completed my undergraduate degree at Colorado State University (USA) in Liberal Arts with dual concentrations in Conservation Biology and Spanish (Honours). Under the guidance of Josefa Gonzalez, I will develop my master’s thesis project with the aim of identifying copy number variants potentially playing a role in the environmental adaptation of natural populations of D. melanogaster.
