Judit Salces
April 2018 – September 2020
My research interests are essentially focused on the study of environmental stress and adaptation, how organisms can cope with stress events and the effects on the stability of their genomes.
I did my PhD at INIA under the supervision of Dr. Magdalena Serrano. I have done a first postdoctoral stay at Dr. Cristina Viera’s lab, focused on the role transposable elements can have on environmental adaptation. At Josefa Gonzalez group I will further investigate the genetic basis, the molecular mechanisms and the functional traits relevant for environmental adaptation.
