- On the 19th August, together with Thomas Flatt (U. Fribourg), we co-organized the 9th DrosEU workshop
- On the 20th of August together with La Ciencia Al Teu Mòn (LCATM) we run a citizen science workshop
- The 21st of August was a busy day with four talks lead by our reserach team and outreach collaborators:
- Josefa González gave a short talk about the citizen science project Melanogaster Catch The Fly that this year is expanding to Europe
- Roberto Torres from LACTM gave a short talk about our Science and Society outreach workshops
- Miriam Merenciano presented her PhD work on The molecular and phenotypic characterization of a roo element under different environmental challenges

- On Friday 23rd two last contributions in
- Vivien Horvath presented her PhD work on Characterizing the molecular basis of dessication tolerance in Drosophila melanogaster Eurpean Populations
- Carlos Ruiz-Arenas from ISGlobal presented a tool he developed during his PhD and in which we are collaborating RecombClust: identification of chromosome subpopulations by recombination differences
